Qualifications
- Seasonal Position. Experience not necessary but horticultural interest or background helpful
- Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, neatness and organization required
- Ability to listen and follow instructions and maintain a good attitude
- Maintain a clean valid NYS drivers license
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and apply liquid and granular fertilizers and assist with pest control applications in accordance with Broccolo Tree & Lawn Care IPM standards (training provided)
- Work as a team with others, while have independent responsibilities
- Written and verbal communication skills are required as well as physical ability for applications
- Be able to lift and maneuver 50 lbs. to load and unload trucks of equipment and products to perform applications of fertilizers and any other control measure (i.e. – push loaded commercial fertilizer spreader across lawns, pull spray hose to length, etc.).
Compensation
- Flexible, seasonal schedule
- Hourly wage and time and a half for over 40 hours, seasonal position as sales and production pressures dictate
